API Platform is a full stack framework dedicated to API-driven projects and implementing the Jamstack architecture.

Releases follow Semantic Versioning. A new minor version is released every six months, and a new major version every two years along with a minor version that brings an upgrade path. Besides the development branch, two versions are maintained:

  • the latest version is actively supported with regular bug fixes;
  • the previous version is supported for security maintenance only.

Versions older than the latest two are not maintained.

More information is available on the API Platform website.

You should be running one of the supported release numbers listed above in the rightmost column.

You can check the version that you are currently using by running:
composer show api-platform/core | grep versions

You can submit an improvement to this page on GitHub :octocat: . This page has a corresponding Talk Page.

A JSON version of this page is available at /api/api-platform.json. See the API Documentation for more.
